Youth Ministry Mission Team

At St. John’s we believe that it is important to give the youth time to connect with each other and more importantly with Christ outside the structure of Worship and formal education. In youth group we are a Christ centered community.  This community gives the youth a chance to dream about, question, and grow their faith, and gives them the opportunity to live, dream and question their faith with others who are on  the same path. 

 Our middle and high school youth groups are active throughout the school year.  We meet with each group at least twice a month playing games and spending time with each other.  We also go mini golfing, ice skating, and bowling; have bon fires and scavenger hunts, and all sorts of other activities.  The middle school attends at least one weekend  gathering each year while the High School typically attends two.  Each time we meet, we make time to spend time together in prayer and time looking for ways to apply the words of Christ to our lives.
