Meet in our church parking lot at 9AM or at the Dutchess Plaza in Poughkeepsie (near K-Mart) at 9:10AM to help with trash pick up along the St. John’s route.

Mental Health Program

April 19, 2015

Parish Care is hosting Meet and Greet Coffee Hour in the Fellowship Hall after the 9:30AM service and will have a Mental Health Program open to all at 11AM.  

New Visions Bible Study

April 22, 2015

As part of a new congregational missional process called “New Visions,” the adult sessions on Wednesdays will offer “All Things Restored.” The biblical themes underscore God’s workings through the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower God’s people in Christ for mission.

Adult Bible Class Starts Tomorrow 4/15

Every Wednesday: April 15, 22, 29, May 6, 13, 20,  27 & June 3 from 10:30-11:30AM  and 7PM-8PM in the Blue Room an Adult Bible Study will be offered at St. John’s. The biblical themes of this study underscore God’s workings through the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower God’s people in Christ for mission. The themes will be:

April 15      Abraham, Go
April 22      Creation & Redemption
April 29      A Winsome People
May 6        Mission in Six Motions
May 13      Faith in Anxious Times
May 20      The Biblical Idea of Justice
May 27      The Church and the Poor
June 3        Hosting and Honoring
