Who is God?

Connecting with God

This is what will come up when you press those words above.

Who is God:
There are many ways to explore this question, but the best answer is to read the Bible.  The Bible shows God’s love, grace and mercy through His plan of salvation in Jesus.  If you haven’t read the Bible before, we encourage you to start with the book of John; an eyewitness account written by one of Jesus’ closets followers.  You can also click on this link for other ideas on where to start reading the Bible.  https://www.biblegateway.com/reading-plans/more . Bibles are available for you to keep (free) at our church.  The one word that best describes God is LOVE!

 Connecting with God

Here are some other ways you can discover who God is and connect with Him in a personal way:

PRAY-just talk to God like you would a person.  Ask Him to help you see Him and know Him.

GET IN COMMUNITY-Come to church to worship and to learn in large or small groups.  There are many opportunities to learn with others about God.  Remember, NO ONE, not even pastors, have all the answers, so it doesn’t matter how much you know or don’t know.  There is NEVER a dumb question in God’s House!

SERVE– When we care for others in this world, we are extending God’s love.  When we serve as an expression and response to our love for Jesus, we not only help a hurting world, but we draw closer to God.

A Message from Pastor (Here pastor could write a quick message of welcome and hope.)

Let us help you connect, encounter and respond to the LOVE Jesus has for YOU!
