Adopt-a Highway @ Next to the Burger King Parking Lot

This year marks St. John’s 20th year of helping to keep the roadways in our community clean with the Adopt a Highway program. Our first pick up this year is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 9:00 AM. Meet at the parking lot beside Burger King on Rt 44, in Poughkeepsie. Please mark your calendars now and sign up on the poster at the church or call the church office 845-452-1550 by Sunday, April 20 to make a difference in our community. Please bring gloves.

Chime Choir Rehearsal @ St. John's Lutheran Church

The Chime Choir is regrouping! Please check out the schedule below and talk to your child about participating. This time the children will not only be able to play in church at worship, but will play a piece as part of the Handbell Concert on May 18; what a cool opportunity!
No music experience necessary.
Chime Choir practices will be:
April 6, April 27 & May 4
11:45AM-12:15PM

Chime Choir will perform one song for the prelude on:
May 18, 10:30AM Worship Service
AND May 18, 3PM Spring Bell Concert!

Spring Clean-Up Day 2025 @ St. John's Lutheran Church

The St. John’s Property Mission Team needs your help! Please join us on Saturday morning May 17, 2025 from 9:00 AM to Noon. There are numerous interior and exterior tasks to clean, repair and improve our building. There is a poster in the Narthex (church foyer) with a list of tasks. Please sign up for a task so you can share your time and talent and make a difference in your church.
