The St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser was a smashing success. The food was provided by JJ Manley and Friends, and all was delicious, especially the shepherd’s pie! Flash Company Band GENEROUSLY donated their music to support the fundraiser. We appreciate their time and talent! The music got toes tapping and people moving as some started dancing in the aisles!

The Social Ministry team didn’t know exactly what to expect from this event, but in the end they were touched by the generosity of the patrons. The Thrivent Financial “Choice Dollar” program contributed $800 for the Food Pantry and the rest came from generous donations. The final count is not yet in, but it will be over $4000 raised for the St. John’s Food Pantry!

To all who made this possible, a hearty THANK YOU!  Not only was it a wonderfully fun event, but it was for a wonderful cause–helping our neighbors in need.
