Easter is a celebration at St. John’s! We express our love and gratitude for Christ’s resurrection with a fanfare of brass instruments, pipe organ, timpani, handbells and a chorus of angelic voices! What a joyous day!

After the 10:30AM worship service was over, children gathered in the Chapel for a mini lesson tying the surprises found in plastic eggs to the big surprise on that first Easter morning. (The REAL meaning of Easter!)

The kids were then led to the courtyard for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. Most eggs had candy, but some had a figure of Jesus that the children encouraged to share with their families and with friends, reminding others that Jesus loves them!
