The 2nd annual CORNHOLE FOR A CAUSE event had 18 teams participating, not only for the Final Round Winner’s title, but for unique categories such as “Best Dressed” (2 ladies had special yellow corn cob shirts and really went the extra mile with their costume for that) and  “Future MVP” awards (given to our very youngest players), as well as other special awards.

Some games were very close, but in the end, Brent Feldweg and Tom Gilgert took 2nd place and newbies to the event, Suzanne & Noah McLeod took FIRST PLACE!

The event raised $2,130 for the St. John’s Food Pantry and $800 of that was matched by Thrivent Choice Dollars for a grand total of $2,930!

Many thanks to:
All those who donated to the cause.
Thrivent for the $250 Action Team that paid for food and supplies and the Thrivent Choice Dollars matching funds.
All the team participants.
The faithful spectators.
The secret judges, score keepers, food and beverage prep people, clean up crew and all who helped in any way to make this event a success. It truly was a group effort!
