Despite having the event indoors because of rain, the Rally Day event was a great success. Over 80 people, including 7 community visitors, enjoyed the picnic fare while perusing the many booths/tables offered by the various ministry teams at St. John’s.

New at the event this year was a cotton candy machine, which was quite popular with the kiddos! Thanks to Jonathan and Rosanne Leigh for organizing and running the cotton candy machine. Thanks to Pete Zipser and Rich Thorn for all the grilling they did, to all  those who contributed sides and desserts for the BBQ, to the ministry leaders who offered activities and info at their ministry booth, and to the Youth  Ministry team who organized and ran the event. We appreciate all who attended and supported Rally Day, making it a big success. Thanks to Thrivent Financial for the Action Team money ($250) that was used to cover the cost of the event. Any extra money collected after the event expenses will go for youth programs.
